Position: Network Engineer Voice & Video (Avaya & Tandberg) experience is MUST
Location: Marlborough, MA
Duration: Longterm Contract

Job Description:


This position will be responsible for management and maintenance of voice and video environment. It will include the participation in the daily upkeep and administration of the company's network infrastructure and computer systems. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the design, planning, implementation and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure and architecture. Complete task on time within agreed Service level agreements with customer.

Experience:

8+ years experience managing and troubleshooting complex voice and video infrastructure in a LAN/WAN environment, with expertise in managing pbx, with atleast 4 years of significant experience in design, implementation and operation of multi-vendor approach.

Approx. 400 -  Avaya 6400 series telephones
2 Avaya S8700 Communication Manager Servers with Cajun switches (CM 3.1.5).
2 Avaya rack mounted battery backup units for the S8700 servers
2 Avaya MCC cabinets equipped for @ 200 station users each and associated trunks
1 Avaya G650 gateway with 2 carriers equipped for @ 216 trunks only to support overflow iConference
1 Avaya MAP 40 Intuity Voicemail
1 Avaya MAP 100 Intuity Voicemail
1 Avaya S6200 audio conference bridge (IBM server)
1 Avaya CRS server for reservationless audio conferencing management (IBM server)
3 Softconsole stations
Management tool for above: Avaya Site Administration client and Avaya CRS and Bridgetalk for remote monitoring/management

Avaya CMS call management system for call center reporting (Sun Blade Desktop)
Management tool for above: Avaya CentrVu client for remote monitor/management/reporting

1 VeraSmart call accounting system for cost center/call record retention (Windows desktop)
Management tool for above: VeraSmart  report client for remote monitor/management/reporting

1 Opentext Electronic fax server (Dell server)
Management tool for above: Right Enterprise Ver. 9.3 client for remote monitor/management/reporting

1 Cisco/Tandberg VCS Expressway (Tandberg server)
1 Cisco/Tandberg VCS Controller/Gateway (Tandberg server)
1 Codian ISDN gateway (Codian gateway)
15 Video Conference Codecs throughout company (mix of Tandberg, Cisco and Polycom)
Management tool for above: TMS Client for remote monitoring/management
