My client is in need of a Sr. Storage Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversight in the design and implementation of fault tolerant, scalable, secure Storage solutions including SAN, NAS and Backup/Recovery solutions. To Promote continuous improvement of policies, standards and procedures related to the organizations storage environment. Act as a lead engineer for managed services implementations. Provide technical support to customers and other groups within the organization. Definition and publication of storage related solutions technical documentation

Summary of Qualifications and Experience:

• Sr. Level experience as a Storage Engineer in an Enterprise Data Center environment
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise backup/recovery solutions in a production data center environment.
• Experience architecting, implementing and supporting enterprise SAN solutions in a production data center environment.
• Experience architecting, implementing and supporting enterprise NAS solutions in a production data center environment.
• Experience with Network Appliance subsystems a plus.
• Knowledge of Unix Systems Administration (common Linux distributions) a plus.
• Knowledge of Windows Systems Administration a plus.
• Industry/Manufacturer Storage Certifications a plus (SNIA SCSE).
• Knowledge of Enterprise Management Systems solutions a plus.
• Knowledge of Information Security Systems and SIM Solutions (IDS/IPS, Nessus, Prelude) a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent customer service skills
