Position           : Cisco Network Engineer
Location          : Plano,TX

Duration           : Long Term Contract

 

 

CCNP or CCDP (certified) and have at least 10 years of recent, relevant experience.

 

·         Should be a U.S. Citizen working in the U.S.

·         Excellent English communication skills

·         Engineer and manage firewall rule change requests -- engineer, submit, track and test changes to HP firewalls using GNS FRCR process

·         author, submit and track requests for network/firewall/load balancer engineering resource requests using GNS NOtA process. Collaborate with engineering resources as a SME on HP connectivity

·         maintain IP address space for HP networks

·         Build and maintain network diagrams and documentation for HP networks

·         Manage WAN connectivity – map out who we connect to and how…build and maintain a master list of client connectivity details for all point-to-point WAN connections to/from HP networks (vrf, ipsec vpn, ATM, FR, ISDN, dial)

·         provide 24/7 rotating on-call coverage for HP production connectivity issues

·         provide consulting support and network subject matter expertise to HP sys admins, development teams and clients with connectivity issues to/from HP services

·         provide network design/sales support to HP teams working on new business deals

·         plan for the continued growth and expansion of HP network footprint in North America

·         Take over the effort to build out a network presence in Tulsa that is even more secure and more scalable than our present Auburn Hills and Plano environments.

·         Migrate legacy frame relay customers onto IPSEC VPNs.
