Title: SAP ABAP Technical Lead // (SAP TRAVEL module) or (Custom Development) or (SAP FM and CO modules)

Location: Burbank,CA

Duration: Long Term

Rate: DOE

 

SAP ABAP Technical Lead (with experience in SAP TRAVEL module)

SAP Technical Lead (with expertise in Custom Development)

SAP Technical Lead (with experience in SAP FM and CO modules)

 

Required Skills:

• Experience: 8-10+ years in SAP ABAP
• The candidate is expected to perform the following functions:
• Development and maintenance of SAP inbound and outbound interfaces, ABAP/4 Programs and Reports, ABAP Query, Report Writer and Report Painter reports.
• Analyze user requirements, performing analysis of data entry points and converting the user requirements (Functions specs) into Technical Specs.
• Development, testing and deployment of SAP objects (Tables, Interface programs, BAPIs etc)

Skill Set Requirements:

• Work with business clients to gather requirements and prepare a technical requirements document.  Prepare detailed technical specifications based on BRD, for hand-off to onsite and/or offshore developer resources.
• Translate business requirements into low level technical requirements for offshore development.
• Coordinate requirements from on-site clients and on-site team leads and assign to on-site and/or offshore developer resources.
• Effectively prepare and maintain a project plan. 
• Manage the full life cycle of project (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment), to deliver a complete product to the client.  Client sign-off signifies acceptance of the product.
• Communicate proactively and frequently with project team and clients to ensure that issues and risks are addressed in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, as required by relevant CMM processes.
• Develop components available for clients for custom enhancements (i.e. BAPI, BDC, User Exit, Smart Forms, SAP Script).
• Should possess deep knowledge of core processes of standard SAP modules.
• Must have experience in working with SAP Travel module
