Need Teradata Physical Data Modeler with 8 to 10 years of experience in design of complex physical data models and semantic views on the Teradata platform, and potentially in activities including:-

 

• Design and instantiation of the physical data model in the data warehouse / data marts.
• The design and creation of base tables and views, as well as the design of any additional summary or aggregation tables, required to support identified reporting requirements.
• Using inputs from the Logical Modeller, Database Administrators and ETL Consultants to define indexes and other performance features offered by the platform.
• Working with the designers of reporting cubes and EDW Logical Data modellers to design semantic views to support these reporting cubes from the EDW.
• Providing Technical consultancy to clients around Teradata database technologies
• Integration of multiple physical data models in order to create global enterprise wide data warehouse
• Knowledge and Experience with Erwin
• Plan/schedule creation and maintenance of the database objects in the QA and Production environments
• Design, creating and tuning physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support normalized and dimensional models.
• Maintain the referential integrity of the database
• Familiar with Teradata environment and operated on MultiLoad, TPump, Fast Load and Fast Export.
• Assisted Teradata SQL and BTEQ Teradata utilities.
