Title: SSIS Developer

Location: Pasadena CA 

Duration: Long term

Rate: DOE

         

Requirement / Responsibilities:

 

·         Responsible for designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting SSIS packages that implement complex ETL processes

·         Responsible for converting SQL 2000 DTS to SSIS packages

·         Participate in code review and design sessions with DBA team and     individual application SME

·         Translate present T-SQL model into SSIS packages

·         Translate present ActiveX scripts into Vb.Net/C# scripts

·         Maintain SSIS packages and documentation in source control

·         Participate in production support and data integrity issues when escalated

 

Requirement Details:

 

·         5+ years of programming knowledge and skills with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

·         5+ years of programming knowledge and skills with SQL 2000 DTS packages

·         Advanced knowledge of SQL programming using Microsoft SQL-Server T-SQL, DTS,SSIS in the MS SQL 2000, 2005 or 2008 environment.

·         Understanding of ActiveX scripts

·         Knowledge of Oracle 10g is a plus

·         Knowledge of MS Access/Excel is a plus

·         Must be able to work/ resolve issue independently

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
