Title: SAP SD Consultant

Location: Chicago,IL

Rate: DOE

 

Required Skills:

• Resource with deep functional and semi-technical skills in SAP sales and distribution based out of Chicago.
• Resource would need to be proficient in all areas of SD configuration with particular experiences with Order Management and Distribution.
• Ability to write clear functional designs and present design solution to project team members.
• Support all stages of testing within SD including analysis and issue resolution. 
• Would prefer candidate resources that also have technical background in SAP ABAP who can debug code for deep analysis of system issues.

Role à SAP SD/MM functional consultant –

• Standard SD skills of sales cycle à Sales Orders/Delivery/Contracts (Service)
• Emphasis on à Billing, Billing plans, Pricing,  ATP, Revenue Recognition, Interfaces
• Good to have à Credit Card functionality knowledge
• Exposure to MM à Purchasing/Invoice verification, Inventory posting

SAP Consultant with an understanding of Sales and Distribution (SD) module configuration. Should possess expertise in their area of SAP specialization and leverage this knowledge to design and develop client solutions.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in IT business analysis or solutions consulting experience in an SAP environment is required.
• Minimum of 3+ full SAP implementations required.
• Experience in order to cash function with exposure to Order management, pricing, shipping, billing, Valuation/Account assignment and account receivables.
• Working knowledge of classification of various SD objects.
• Working experience with variant configuration and impact of VC in the area of Order management, pricing, accounting etc.
• Integration knowledge with other SAP modules PP, MM and FICO.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 a plus.
• Experience with Inter-company/Intra-company sales processes.
• Full knowledge of SAP Enhancements (User Exits), BADIs and BAPIS related to SD module.
