Position: EMC Storage Administrator

Location: Stamford, CT

Duration: Long Term

 

Skills/Tools:

 

EMC Open Replicator, symmetrix graphic analyzer, symm merge, Solutions enabler, Power path

 

Job Description:

 

Install, configure and maintain the storage level data copy for data migrations ( snapview, off-host backup, lun to lun copy etc.. )

Maintain 16 SAN switches ( CISCO) for hosts and 4 array side switches including but not limited to coordinate with Vendor for firmware upgrades,bin lock activities, collect and upload switch logs if required.

Zoning, masking and assign the storage luns as and when requested for the Unix /  Linux /Windows hosts.

Prepare the implementation plan for the same and publish to the System admins.

Work with system admins to troubleshoot and or check at the storage array for the performance issues.

Maintain 4 VMAX arrays, 2 DMX arrays and 2 Clarion arrays.

On-call support is needed for weekends/holidays.

Review emcgrab from hosts and provide heat reports to the system admin

Provide bin file for the new arrays configuration as and when required.
