Position 1: Senior ETL Developer
Position 2: Lead ETL Developer
Location: Washington DC
Duration: 6 Months +
Job Description: We are looking for ETL Developers with 5+ years experience in large-scale warehouses and datamarts Development. Need someone having good experience with Data Warehouse Design, SDLC, Ab-Initio, SAS, ORACLE SQL & PL/SQL, UNIX Scripting, Autosys, Documentation and Communication Skills.
Should have some experience with Banking, Finance, Financial, Securities, Capital Markets industry Sector.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Design / develop data acquisition process for financial systems in Ab Initio
* Design and Develop a replacement for the current SAS ETL and computational logic with an Ab Initio ETL,
* Re-design the database into a dimensional data model that will help designing new Datamart.
* Designing, developing, execute and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading for multiple corporate Operational Data Store, Data warehousing, and Data mart systems.
Job Requirements:
* 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience developing large-scale warehouses and datamarts using Ab-Initio development, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, Unix scripting, Autosys & SAS.
* Data Warehouse Design, SDLC, Ab-Initio, SAS, ORACLE SQL & PL/SQL, UNIX Scripting, Autosys, Documentation and Communication Skills.
* Need to work with a team of experienced Ab-Initio architects, developers and data architects.
* Should work with other support teams like Release Management, Change Management, System Testing, and Production Support and deploy code to production strictly following SDLC and other internal standards, processes and procedures.
* UNIX knowledge (Shell/Perl Scripting) is required with Knowledge of Autosys
* Working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 etc.
* Should have strong knowledge of SQL
* Strong knowledge of SDLC including methodologies such as RUP
* Ability to work with client and manage their expectations & priorities
* Good communication skills
Job Overview: We are looking for Senior AB Initio Developer having good experience with developing large-scale warehouses and datamarts for Banking / Financial Clients.
