Title: Windows Security – Consultant

Location: Niskayuna, NY

Duration: 3-6 Months Contract

  

Qualifications/Requirements:

Ensure Antivirus/Firewall and End Point Policy Enforcement Implementation and phase out of other legacy platforms Administration of the policies, groups, and remediation of detected events for all Sophos products. Set process to track & monitor the vulnerabilities on various information assets of the organization and track the same for closure Develop policies and procedures necessary to install, configure, and maintain AV, DLP, software Log Monitoring, Event Analysis, Event Correlation Set process to track & monitor the Data Leakage on various information assets of the organization and track the same for closure

End point - how to install anti virus, how to protect firewalls.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

 Support Windows End Point Security tools such as:

• Anti-virus, Firewall, Disk Encryption,

• Operating System and Application Security Patching

• Digital Guardian

• 3 Years' experience supporting a Windows client environment. (Windows XP, 7)

• Year experience with Windows server 2008 and active directory.
