Title: AIX Administrator
Location:
Duration: Long term
Rate: $50 on C2C All inclusive
Required Skills:
- Strong technical field background, and experience, including having worked in a large, enterprise, AIX or UNIX heterogeneous environment.
- Good technical understanding of configuring and troubleshooting HACMP, SAN storages, SVC and fabric switches along with the multi path software required for various operating systems
- Should be able to work in a constantly changing customer / product environment and embrace direct customer interaction via telephone, email, or through face to face meetings.
- Must be flexible to changing schedules that are determined by business needs.
- Strong communication and verbal soft skills.
- Must be comfortable and skilled with telephone technical support.
- Experience supporting PowerHA, TSA and VCS clustering, Power7, Power6 hardware Platforms.
- Ability to build, install and migrate server from AIX 5.3 to AIX 6.1 O.S.
- Must be able to complete a technical skills assessment to be submitted to the hiring manager along with resume.
