Position: Sr. Business Analyst

Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA

Duration: 6 Months +

FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW IS MUST (need local and nearby candidates)

 

Experience Level: 8+ years

 

Description:

 

�         Researches and reviews the projects' scope in order to understand why the project has been initiated.

�         Demonstrates a high level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process).

�         Gathers detailed requirements that completely define the project.

�         Creates high-level models and user prototype interfaces to identify and validate business processes and solutions when appropriate.

�         Communicate requirements with minimal direction and guidance. Acts as the liaison between the business experts and the project team members.

�         Facilitates business/functional requirement review, approval, and sign-off sessions.

�         Prepares and delivers effective presentations to upper management.

�         Identifies solutions to the development and technical team based on approved business and functional requirements.

�         Participates in technical requirements and design sessions.

�         Conducts and directs end-user testing responsibilities and tasks with minimal guidance from consultant staff, manager or project managers.

�         Interfaces with members of the installation team, technology and user support groups, vendors, and vendor management under the direction of the consultant staff and/or manager.

�         Administers communication activities with end-user training for system implementation.

�         Acts as coach, mentor, and advisor to less experienced Business Analysts.

�         Assists with training and orientation of less experienced Business Analysts and project team members.

�         Drive the projects from Discovery/Initation phase to Implementation phase independently.

�         As Test engineer, candidate must be able to create test straget, test plans, testcases, execute system testing, working with business to perform UAT.

�         Develops and execute test plans and test new or modified software for reliability and accuracy.

�         Candidate must be local or willing to locate at his/her own expense.
