Position: Test Lead

Location: CA

Duration: 9+ Months

 

Experience Level: 9+ Years

 

Summary:  Text Execution Lead for SMART Application  (SMART is an in-house developed application which captures and manages Sales Force Performance information)

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide Test Leadership for the SMART (Sales Management And Reporting Tool) Application
• Perform Test-related activities (ie: Create Test Cases, Execute Test Scripts, Manage Defect Resolution) for the SMART Application (may be the only SMART Test resource)
• Work closely with Business, Process, Functional, and Development Teams to complete SMART Test activities, including integrated Applications
• Develop and present Test Metrics and Status to impacted teams and management
• Identify test-related issues and risks; recommend thoughtful mitigation plans
• Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• 10+ Years of Exp in Testing.
• 6+ years of experience testing using agile methods
• Good understanding of agile software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams
• Ability to analyze requirements, mapping documents and data to identify test cases and test scripts
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work with minimal guidance, prepare and provide status updates
• Previous knowledge of Sales and Performance (ie: Goals and Commissions) Applications.
• 2+ years of experience testing user-provisioned systems
• Proficient in manual testing of GUI, Client Server and Web applications
• Strong problem assessment and resolution skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
