We have a new hot role, looking for a Sr. level GUI Developer with Data Integration experience. The role is NYC, with 10% travel to San Francisco (travel expenses reimbursed). The client a Financial Services (Investment Firm); please read below for further details and candidate submittal requirements.

Role                 : GUI Developer - Data Integration

Duration           : 7 + months (extension based on performance)

Location          : NYC (local NY/NJ candidates preferred)

Travel              : 10% Travel NY to SF (travel expenses covered)  

 

Skills: GUI Developer, Data Integration, HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSP – Must have SKILLS

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         Sr. level - Develop UI artifacts such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript as well as other frameworks (Jquery, DOJO, etc.),

·         Build out the user interfaces that support the exchange of information between the site’s users and its back-end processes and databases.

·         Hands-on knowledge of  HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX as well as other user interface development/debugging tools in a WebSphere Portal environment

·         Knowledge of JavaScript libraries like Prototype or jQuery and DOJO.

·         Excellent programming, debugging, testing and troubleshooting skills

·         Experience in Java development

·         Working knowledge of JSPs, Servlets and HTTP protocol

·         ETL Tools

·         Linux Scripting Languages (Perl/C-Shell/etc.)

·         mySQL, DB2, export/import Tools

·         Agile Development is a must.

·         Financial Services experience a huge plus.
