Position: Storage Architect
Location: Savannah, GA
Duration: 6-12 months
Description:
· Minimum 7 years' experience with EMC and NetApp technology is a must.
· Strong hands on experience on ONTAP 8.x -7 Mode and Cluster mode
· Hands on experience with local and remote replication using snapshot, snapmirror, snapvault and flexclone
· Proficiency in configuring and administering zero RPO and low RTO for enterprise mission critical applications using EMC DMX3, VMAX with SRDF-S, SRDF-A
· Perform data replication, both local and extended distance using EMC, Timefinder/SRDF and Recoverpoint
· Ability to troubleshoot complex database performance issues
· Good experience in storage provisioning using SYMCLI, ECC , NavisecCLI, Navispehere and Unisphere for VPLEX/VMAX and VNX storage arrays
· Highly skilled in Brocade DCX FC SAN switches and Panduit cabling
· Ability to troubleshoot performance issues on SAN switches and storage arrays.
· Proven track record in taking an IT project from concept to completion.
· Experience and background with solid systems administration processes and procedures for both UNIX and Microsoft Windows environments
· Strong scripting skills using shell, powershell and batch
· Good experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases, Knowledge of Virtualization using Citrix, VMware and AIX NPIV/VIOS/LPAR
· VPLEX experience a plus.
