Position: Sr. Python  Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

• Experience in Python (2.7.x and 3.x)
  
• Module system: ability to write modules, using distutils
  
• Higher order programming, functional programming, iterators, generators
  
• REST API's – development and consumption
  
• Web frameworks: Pyramid, Django, and Flask/Bottle
  
• Asynchronous frameworks such as Twisted, gevent/eventlet
  
• Good understanding of HTTP protocol
  
• Text manipulation: XML, XSD, XSLT, YAML etc
  
• Database technologies in Python: SQLRecord, SQLAlchemy
  
• Good understanding of Linux
  
• Ability to interface with Linux using Python
