Position           : Jr. DWH production Support Analyst

Location           : Cary, NC

Duration           : long term contract

 

Mandatory Skills:

 

Data Warehousing/Production Support Experience,  Oracle, Teradata, UNIX, Datastage, Autosys ,any scripting language such as PERL, DOS

 

Must haves –

 

- Must be willing to work in shifts

- Willing to relocate to Cary, NC

- Previous experience with Data Warehouse Jobs Monitoring and troubleshooting

- Good knowledge and experience working with UNIX and basic shell scripts

- Must be able to troubleshoot production issues

- Database Concepts

- Job Scheduling Concepts

- Production support in Data Warehouse environment

- SQL skills

- Experience in Autosys

- Experience in any ETL tool – Datastage 7.5 or 8.5 OR Informatica

- Excellent in oral and written communication skills and positive attitude

 

Nice to have–

 

- Exposure to Production Support in any BI environment - Cognos, BO, OBIEE, QlikView etc..

- BI (Cognos) Enterprise Environment

- Exposure on Testing methodologies, creating test plan, test cases and various methods of testing

- Basic Understanding of DW Design Concepts / Methodologies and ETL Concepts

- Basic knowledge in Data Warehousing practices

- Experience in ORACLE DB, Teradata DB etc..

- Database design concepts
