Position           : SCOM Developer

Location           : Redmond, WA

Duration           : Contract/FullTime

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         This candidate will be working with an active Online Service Organization in order the help ensure that critical facets of Service Engineering functions occur smoothly.

·         Day to Day operations will include deploying Service code, troubleshooting and debugging deployment and Service failures, interacting with Test/Development Teams to drive service improvements, engaging in incidents, provide status and alerts involving product services and dependencies.

·         The candidate needs to have a strong breath of knowledge of the Windows Operating System, in order to identify and correlate code bugs with service or Operating System dependencies.

·         Most importantly this candidate must have a passion for Service Infrastructure and Design, interested in the Test discipline, and an eagerness to grow a great attitude is necessary.

·         Lab SE's will be coordinating with infrastructure operations and SCOM monitoring teams; fundamental knowledge in SCVMM and SCOM will be helpful with these tasks.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Experience working with Deployment Software (Auto Pilot Octopus, Sequence Manager, Windows Workflow)
Strong Knowledge and Experience with SQL/WebStore

·         Application Network experience (IP Addressing schemes, Communication Flows)

·         Strong understanding of Windows Operating System Internals

·         Knowledge of Azure (Understanding of Azure Infrastructure/Topologies, Deployment, Account Management) a Plus
