We have the below job opportunity with our direct client. Please find the details below
Position: SAP Basis Manager NOT admin
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6 Months +
Client wants a project manager who has implemented SAP BASIS and not a SAP BASIS administrator. The person should have managed at least one project like SAP Basis Upgrade from start to end. He/she should be experienced in forming project plan, driving technical teams for implementations/upgrades, generate periodical reports and provide project status updates to management. In short, the requirement is for SAP Basis Manager.
Description:
Work at client location at New York
Work 8 x 5 in office. Available for weekend SAP implementations when happen.
Troubleshoot issues in SAP Basis, Java, ABAP
Support issues on Operating System, Database
Perform SAP Upgrades and SSO,SLD,EHP installs
Develop plan for upgrades with proper Risk, Dependencies and Target dates
Drive proactive SAP System health and implement required changes to keep SAP upto date to avoid any security threats
Perform analysis and provide periodical recommendations to keep SAP system in good health
Provide periodical report on support status and project progress on weekly and monthly basis
Coordinate with Offshore SAP Team
