Job Title                 : Java Senior Developer

Skills:

Core Java - Mandatory

Spring  - Mandatory

Spring Batch – Optional

Spring Integration - Mandatory

Hibernate/ iBatis - Mandatory

 

Understand the underlying java concepts/ frameworks, The candidate should have had experience in proving high level and low level Design for a java based application or Java Components. 

 

Need to understand and define the mechanism of transfer of data between various java components – ex XML, JSON, Flat File, Object, etc.

 

Should have experience in designing/ development of java based applications.

 

Good Communication - Mandatory

Offshore Coordination - Mandatory

Perform role of Developer – Mandatory

 

Optional

Drools   - Good to have

HTML 5  - Good to have

Agile experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.       Work with Architects and System Analysts to understand technical and business needs.

2.       hands on experience in designing Java applications

3.       Self driven, suggest directions, architectural considerations in addition to development of code inline with the laid out architectural directions

4.       Design, develop, unit test and integrate new code

5.       Work with QA Teams to fix code level defects.

6.       Work across multiple projects, allocate time appropriately as needed and meet project deadlines.

7.       Review existing design and implementation of ESB/Orchestration and make/code improvements recommendations.

8.       Coordinate with distributed/ team based out in a different time zone

9.       Work with distributed, offshore team

10.    Ownership of deliveries and ensure quality delivery

11.    Develop code, work on design and architecture as required

12.    Should have experience in Maven, SVN and ANT.
