Position: Web Administrator (Apache, Tomcat)
Location: White Plains, NY
Duration: 6 Months +

Must have Web (Apache, Tomcat)

Key Responsibilities/Skills required:

• Understand in great depth all the associated technologies in the web-tier.
  
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in Systems administration (Linux/Solaris/ Windows)
• Responsible for proper installation, configuration, and integration of all web tier components: Apache, tomcat, Varnish, Nginx for large scale websites.• Hands on Experience on Cloud technologies (Rackspace, AWS).
• Configure and manage SVN repositories. Importing/exporting remote repositories, SVN dump.    Trouble-shoot production systems at expert level and should be able to do Root cause analysis of complex issues.
  
• Knowledge of PHP, Drupal, Wordpress.
• Provide hands on guidance at expert level in performance tuning of systems.
• Work with client, Vendors, other teams to implement/resolve web-tier/Issues.
• Write specifications, how-to documentation, test plans, test reports, best-practices etc.
• Candidate must be flexible in terms of Shifts 24X 7, On-Call Support.
