Position: Storage Engineers (IBM XIV)
Location: Chevy Chase, MD
Duration: 6 Months

NOTE: IBM XIV experience is a MUST

No of Positions: 2

Environment:
hardware
Mostly IBM XIV, some v7000, some EMC VMAX
SVC
Brocade
Software
Tivoli Storage Productivity Center
Virtual Wisdom
Brocade Network Advisor

Duties

Performance problem analysis
Firmware updates and other planned events
Configure access gateways on enclosures and other switches
Provisioning/de-provisioning of storage
Coordinating hardware replacements and physical layer fixes
Disk zoning/configuration after new purchases
Enhance monitoring and create alerts
