Title: Data Modeler
Location: Erie, PA
Mode of hire: Contract
Duration: 3+ Months
Responsible for the fundamental organization of a system embodied in its components, their relationships to each other and to the environment, and the principles guiding its design and evolution.
Data Modeler:
Develops the Enterprise Logical Data Model (LDM). Facilitates JAD sessions to determine data rules, and holds LDM Reviews with Data SMEs.
Applies client Standards, checks models in and out of Model Repository, and documents data model translation decisions.
This position includes use of data profiling tools and techniques, and development of review and QA data requirements.
· 3-5 years prior data analyst experience preferred
· Master (experienced) in using Erwin
· Logical Design Demonstrated experience with large scale, multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise
· Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels
· Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges
· Demonstrated experience to influence and coordinate third parties and suppliers
