Position: Datastage Architect

Location: Renton, WA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Required Skills:

 

•    Extensive development experience in Datastage Info Sphere 8.5 or above (8.7 or 9.1)

•    Extensive development experience on Parallel Extender Datastage Jobs

•    Strong knowledge with Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes using Datastage ETL Tool

•    Involved in all the phases of a project life cycle; including Requirements gathering, Analysis and design, Development and coding, Unit testing, Integration testing and Implementation

•    Analyze and Reverse Engineer existing Mainframe Jobs (JCL) and document the functional requirements

•    Strong working experience on data warehousing applications, directly responsible for Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data from Mainframe systems into data warehouse.

•    Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning of ETL code

•    Development experience with building Data Warehouse & Data Modeling

•    Experience working in Teradata and Oracle DB

•    Perform vital role in development and / or contribute to Design and Develop ETL Datastage templates

•    Work with the functional Analyst on the customers side to resolve requirements issues

•    Work with the stakeholders as needed for design and code reviews and provide support to the customer as needed
