Position: Oracle Developer
Location: Cary, NC
Duration: 18 months from start

Skills:

Must possess a minimum of 6 to 8 years industry experience developing Java based web applications.
Must be able to operate with minimal supervision and should be passionate about delivering high quality code.
Must have been member of an agile team; participated in release and iteration planning meetings; employed organization design patterns to develop application logic; design unit tests as part of test driven development;
Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Query tuning and optimization
Databases: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server
Operating Systems: Unix (any flavor)
Application servers: Tomcat or equivalent
Oracle Certified Associate etc. accreditations are desirable
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Job responsibilities include contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across different environments
