Position           : Test Manager

Location           : Time Square, NY

Duration           : 6 Months/FTE

 

Mandatory Skills:-

Planning:

•                     Prepare the Initial Test Plan

•                     Initial estimates

•                     Resource planning

Requirement Analysis:

•                     Understand the requirements

•                     Understand Functional Overview /Application Flow

•                     Understand dependencies for testing:  data, environment, application or batch program, configurations, etc.

•                     Raise clarifications on unclear and ambiguous requirements

•                     Create Test Estimates for the project / Provide Estimates for work allocated

Test Case Creation:

•                     Provide clarifications to Test Engineer

•                     Interface with Test Manager & Business Users to gather additional information (if any)

•                     Review Test Case provided by Test Engineer.

•                     Ensure all requirements have been covered.

•                     Write / Design Test Case

•                     Submit Test Case for internal review & Address review comments

•                     Uploading test case document in Quality Center tool

Test Execution:

•                     Review Test reports from QC

•                     Review Defects Raised

•                     Coordinate with Stakeholders on the Defects raised.

•                     Coordinate with Test Manager / Business  Users in case of ambiguity between expected and actual test results

•                     Coordinate with other stakeholders to understand test cases blocking & dependencies in test execution

•                     Participate in Defect Review meetings to prioritize defect fixings

•                     Execute test cases marked for Testing & Record test results in QC tool

•                     Record defect in Quality Center

•                     Capture screenshots, and record step-by-step description in Quality Center tool and attach relevant logs

•                     Validate Test Results

•                     Regression Test  Maintenance

Test Management:

•                     Primary Point of Contact for offshore testing teams

•                     QC Tool Administration (During Phase 2)

•                     Over all Resource Planning

•                     MUST be a strong communicator – especially verbally
