Position: Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 18 Months

 

Description:

 

·         Be able to perform due diligence activities for the IT environment of the companies that Client's acquires.

·         Review, analyse the acquired company's IT & be able to provide plan of action/steps to merge them into client's IT environment.

·         Has to ensure that the due diligence data capture is converted into a tangible project plan, which has to receive client's IT leadership's acceptance.

·         Establish the project plan, covering at minimum the below areas and more:

·         end users – training, reimaging of laptops/desktops

·         networks-data & voice

·         servers & datacenter setup

·         HRIS systems

·         business operations applications and systems

·         immediate IT procurement for initial merge of the systems

·         merging of internal phone systems

·         IT applications such as SharePoint

·         IT Security

·         transition of IT service desk support to client

·         Be able to travel with  client's IT to the various locations of the acquired company & perform due diligence activities.

·         Coordinate with the necessary client's internal teams to deliver the necessary plans of action.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

Needs to understand the following:

·         IBM Content Manager

·         High level understanding of Networks

·         Microsoft/Wintel

·         Consumer/logistics industry

·         Internet provisioning

·         Phone systems

·         SharePoint

·         IT security systems

·         IT service desk

·         AS400 – iSeries applications

·         Data segregation
