Position               : Software Engineer

Location               : Portland, OR

Duration              : 6 Months +

 

Description:

 

·         Strong C, C++ programming experience for microcontrollers and device drivers in Linux development environments

·         Experience in Linux Kernel, File System, and OS

·         Experience in design and implementation of multitasking, event driven firmware using C

·         Experience developing unit test frameworks

·         Exposure to commercial product development environment- Good analytical, integration, support, debugging skills

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with design, software, manufacturing, and other disciplines

·         Demonstrated self-motivated and capable to work independently as well as within a diverse multi-geographic team

·         Familiarity with 8051 architecture would be an added advantage- Familiarity with WiFi/WiFi-Direct would be an added advantage

·         Familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE would be an added advantage

·         Familiarity with traditional GNU tools, such as vi(m), find, grep, tar, gzip, gunzip, doxygen, and others - Familiarity with make, makefile, and subversion source control

·         Knowledge of Intel ™ x86 architecture is highly desirable

·         Experience in working with memory controllers and PC architecture would be an added advantage - Knowledge of bus protocols such as I2C, GPIO, SPI, PCI E, NIC, SATA, USB, and SMBUS

·         Programming skills of script languages like shell script and/or Python and/or BASH and/or Perl
