Experience Level: 9-10+ Years

Position: Oracle DBA Architect/Lead
Location: Burlington, Vermont
Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

• Experienced Oracle DBA who has experience with large (multi-terabyte) PeopleSoft databases on Oracle 11g on Windows 2008R2.    
  
• Need to be able to diagnose and tune performance issues, primarily at the database level and also from the application.  
  
• Need to be an excellent SQL coder so that they can analyze explain plans and recommend/implement fixes for inefficient SQL.  
  
• Have experience with Demantra databases – Desired, Not mandatory  
  
• Needs to have a thorough understanding of Data Guard and be able to use Grid Control, including alerting, jobs and database management.  
• Should understand different ways of patching Oracle databases.  
• Should have experience with refreshing test environments.
