Job responsibilities:
- Design, development and QA of .Net / Silverlight 4.0 based application
- New development, enhancements as well as 2nd level support as needed
- Be independent, should be able to get the knowledge transferred by working closely with customer teams and onshore team
- Strong technical hands-on skills, good analytical and problem solving abilities
Expected technical skills:
- Experience of creating Silverlight UI in XAML
- Proficiency in Silver Light 4.0/3.0, C#(4.0/3.0/2.0) with MS SQL Server and / or Oracle 10g / 9i database
- Good exposure to MSSQL / Oracle, should have experience in writing basic PL / SQL
- Know-how of IIS and SSRS Reporting
- Familiarity with XML Web Services (SOAP, WSDL and UDDI), Service Oriented Architecture [SOA] concepts using .NET Framework would be nice to have
- Experience of working with PRISM and MVVM design patterns for Silverlight and WPF would be an added advantageSoft skills:
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written
- Excellent analytical and logical skills, problem solving capabilities
- Self motivated, self managed individual
- Prior experience of working with virtual / distributed teams in agile methodology would be an added advantage
