Role: Hyperion Reporting Lead

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: Long Term

 

Note: Insurance domain experience is mandatory.

 

Experience: 8+ years IT experience

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Should have worked as Lead on development & Maintenance projects for more than 5+ years

·         Good knowledge of Data warehousing concepts, strong SQL experience

·         Experience on reporting tools such as Hyperion, Oracle BI, Actuate etc.

·         Good understanding of Application Development (SDLC) and lifecycle

·         Good understanding of financial reporting in Insurance domain

·         Ability to build relationships and interface with clients

·         Excellent coordinating and planning skills with various stakeholders

·         Passionate about delivering to customer requirements and be customers’ advocate in projects.

·         Ability to lead joint onsite and offshore teams

·         Good Analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to clearly explain technical issues

·         Problem solving capability; desire to investigate and resolve issues in the short term workaround / setting up procedure) and longer term (participate to the definition of proper fix)

·         Ability to work under pressure and in a changing environment

·         Ability to handle stressed out and irate business users

·         Strong sense of issue ownership and business accountability

·         Demonstrated track record of achieving professional and personal goals.

·         A self-starter whose drive and natural curiosity lead to mastery of the learning curve and key applications and processes.

 

Desired:

·         Experience working in customer facing role in similar domain of Insurance and Finance& Accounting IT

·         Working experience outside India
