Title: Performance Engineer

Must Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering field.
- 10+ years of overall IT Industrial experience
- 8+ years of experience working with mission critical IT infrastructure products.
- 6+ years of experience working as performance Engineer support mission critical IT infrastructure products.
- Unix or Linux experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with technologies such as SSD, HDD, SATA, SAS, iSCSI, NAS, HA, RAID, embedded or IA processors, virtualization, networking, XEN, VMWare, Linux, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of and experience with MW technologies (ie..TIBCO)
- Object-oriented development skills including language skills in two or more of Java, #C, .Net
- Knowledge of and experience with SQL/PLSQL
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience coding and scripting in a Linux environment.
- Proven ability to understand complex software design/ develop testing approaches for them.
- Experience with Performance, Load, Stress, and Scalability Testing
- Experience with SOAPUI, Wats, Jmeter, JProfiler, Jconsole, and system tools vmstat/top
- Web Application Development, Application Servers Weblogic, Web Services development experience (SOAP )
- Experience with Customer Experience management tools such as TeaLeaf
- Experience with CDNs such as Akamai
- Note: This is an Engineer position not a QA role
- Creating and implementing performance strategies, creating performance and profiling plans and presenting performance data and recommendations for improving code and system performance.
- Automation of performance tests and operation in a Continuous Integration environment.
