Position: Drupal Architect
Location: Peapack or Madison, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have several years' experience building large-scale web sites and applications and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop high-quality code, have excellent communication skills, love solving complex problems, and lead in project design and direction.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement custom modules in PHP/Drupal according to requirements
· Participate in daily meetings and regular planning and review sessions
· Interact with remote teams to ensure complete delivery of web applications
· Provide documentation as required and lead code reviews, planning sessions and routine status stand-ups
· Provide accurate level of effort time estimates and provide recommendations for feature prioritization
· Assist in release/deployment planning and execution activities
Requirements/Qualifications:
· 5+ years' experience in web application development with minimum 2+ years' experience in Drupal application development
· Advanced level PHP5, MySQL and HTML/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript
· Advanced experience with Drupal architecture, best practices, and coding standards
· Experience with object-oriented design and data modelling
· Advanced experience with Analytics applications, including Adobe Omniture
· Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes
· Experience with third-party applications/tools and integration
· Knowledge of web application security considerations
· Experience with source/version control systems
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong time management and analytical/problem solving abilities
· Social media or user generated content experience highly desired.
· Experience in building Facebook applications and applications using social network API's
· Experience with continuous integration best practice and deployment strategy
· Experience with Selenium or similar automated testing frameworks.
