Position : UI\UX Developer
Location : Camarillo, CA
Duration : 3 to 6 Months
Please note I am looking for people that have worked on BIG projects with BIG Companies. All people sent must have an on line portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support product development by translating business requirements into visually workable designs
- Iteratively design, prototype and specify core components of application’s innovative Web and Mobile user interface
- Creatively apply the best user interface design ideas of the consumer web to business applications
- Discover, evaluate, and document interface design patterns and standards
- Be an advocate for the user and passionate about the user experience
- Train and mentor others in design best practices
- Develop and maintain design patterns for the product
- Further the development of the larger design practice with the product team
- Provide expertise on color theory, typography, composition, layout, etc.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects while remaining highly detail oriented
- Remain flexible to changing priorities
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of ever-evolving design trends and techniques
Position Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 6 to 8 years experience delivering compelling visual designs for web and mobile applications.
- Track record of consistently delivering break-through designs
- Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies and an appetite for learning more
- Experience in an agile and collaborative environment (early-stage startup or other Rapid Application Development - RAD - environments) is a plus
- Skills in coding HTML(5) and CSS(3) are highly desired
- Sense of humor, good people and communication skills
- Design experience on consumer and business applications in the entire range of visual design activities:
- Concept drawings
- Low fidelity wireframes
- High fidelity pixel-accurate renderings
- Style guide for components and accompanying CSS
Also needed are Skills in:
· JavaScript, Dojo, HTML5
· Microsoft.Net
