Position: SAS Consultant with BI Exp

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Description:

 

•    6+ years Business Intelligence development experience and proven experience delivering BI solutions including report solutions, ad-hoc reports and advanced analytical solutions and data mining

•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAS development

•    Hands on experience in Data Analytics, Data Management, statistical data modeling process like understanding the business problems, data preparation, data analysis, model development, model implementation and model tracking

•    Experience with working on large data sets and manipulating data and prepare data for statistical modeling.

•    Analyze business needs, defect trends and guide the development team accordingly.

•    Experience with the design and development of SAS based solutions

•    Hands on in SAS Miner, Enterprise Guide and SAS text mining

•    Good experience preparing business intelligence visualizations and/or dashboards

•    Strong analytics and system design skills

•    Strong data modeling and data mining skills

•    Strong Understanding of relational databases

•    Good SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries

•    Experience in other BI tools such as SQL Server

•    Advanced Analytics

•    SAS

•    SQL Sever

 

Other skills:

 

•    Strong communication skills and presentation skills - ability to present to business leaders and senior executive management

•    Must possess skills to effectively escalate high risk problems and issues, ability to drive them to resolution with minimal management involvement

•    Interpersonal skills and the ability to  with customers and team members effectively communicate and interact
