Role:      SAP Business Objects
Location: Middletown, NJ
Duration: Long Term Contract

 

 
Required Skills:
Work Experience 10-12  years
Experience installing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise SAP Business Objects WebIntelligence and Xcelsius systems
Extensive experience in Business Objects (XI R3/R4) - universe, reporting and dashboard design and implementation
Experience working with Windows servers, Oracle, Tomcat, VMware, and other common technical components of BO BI deployment
Experienced in using Business Objects CMC, CCM, and InfoView
Strong leadership skills and the ability to multi-task within a dynamic workplace
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to deliver quality results with an aggressive timeline
Ability to instill best practices in implementation
Knowledge of SAP MetaData Manager
Good Data modeling and Data analysis skills
Experience providing end user and technical support to business intelligence/analytical reporting system
Design and develop code using SAP Data Services
Experience using SAP Data Services and Data Quality
ETL design and implementation involving the extraction of data from a variety of legacy systems, integration, and cleansing of data before loading

 

into data warehouses
Developing ETL jobs, workflows, ETL components, change data capture
Working knowledge of ETL development and migration best practices
Strong understanding of data warehouse design philosophies
Experience with Caching Strategies, Indexing, Parallelization and ability to work with DBA team for tuning needs
Thorough and deep knowledge about different databases.
Ability to work in even stressful environment.
Strong ability to understand the needs of the customer.
Work across business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solution definition & systems architecture for the organization
Provide expertise and guidance, leading efforts to define and refine universe and dashboard requirement
Document maintenance and monitoring processes for ensuring business continuity and early identification of potential issues
Participate in and initiate meetings with key stakeholders. Document main points, issues and key decisions
Ensure test scenarios are adequately documented and perform testing as needed
