Job Description
We are looking for a SQL Developer that has 3 to 5 years SQL Application development experience.
Candidates should demonstrate recent SQL Application development experience in a SQL 2005 / 2008 environment.
Primary Skills:
3 - 5 years of experience designing, building and deploying solutions in a Microsoft SQL 2005 / 2008 environment
Proficient in TSQL Scripting
Experience with DTS and Integration Services (SSIS)
Experience with SQL 2005 Reporting Services management, including data-driven subscriptions
Experience with SQL Profiler
Performance / TSQL trouble-shooting and tuning
Experience working with a project manager to formulate and use project plans and associated documents
Secondary Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)
MS SQL Database Administration
Experience with Microsoft C, C++, C#, VB.Net, and VBScript
Microsoft DBA certification
Core Job Responsibilities:
The SQL Developer will be assigned to both project and support requests.
The vast majority of requests require working with members from: business units (requestors), Project managers, Business analysts, Development team members, Infrastructure team members, QA test and deployment team members
The SQL Developer will be responsible for: reviewing project requirements, documenting and presenting design solutions, constructing solutions, unit and integration testing of solutions, certification and user acceptance testing of solutions, deploying solutions to production, providing support for solutions, be on a pager rotation for support purposes
