Title: Build Release Consultant With Healthcare Experience

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: Long Term

Rate: Long term

 

Expert in Release Planning and Release Scheduling:

• Design the SCM plan, Build and Release Management plan at an enterprise level and device a plan to implement the design
• Formalizing a release management function in the organization
• Visualize the need for various roles and assigning release manager/release engineer roles oversee each release
• Assign build manager/coordinator for each logical release which can be mapped to functional module (Enrollment and Membership, Claims etc).  Each Functional module can be packaged and deployed  in testing environments

Optimizing the release approach:

• Calibrate release frequency and type to accommodate business needs
• Maintain different classes of release (e.g. Major/Minor, date or content driven releases) with "clear criteria for inclusion in each."
• Automate build, test and deployment processes wherever possible

Implementing quality controls:

• Document quality control processes for releases
• Establish checklists to ensure consistency across releases
• Track every item's progress and immediate action/escalation which needs attention
