Title: Linux Administrator

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Long term

Rate: DOE

 

Candidate has to be local for a face to face interview with Linux, Scripting and PCI experience.

This is a very urgent position and we need local candidates who can do face to face interviews.

 

Required Skills:

• SUSE Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and administering Linux SUSE servers. 
• Excellent knowledge of Linux Operating System, Linux kernels, security and Linux network sockets
• Experience with Linux OS patching preferred
• Knowledge of Linux hardware driver layer
• Advanced Shell scripting skills (bash/ksh) to automate patch installs and configurations
• Solid understanding of Awk and Sed
• Solid understanding of Linux X-server and touch screen configuration
• Solid understanding of Linux Desktop kiosk configurations for KDE, Firefox, and Open Office
• Ability to work effectively independently or with a team
