Requirement / Responsibilities:

 

Candidates should be able to lead a team of onshore/offshore resources and have the skills below:

 

·         Strong AIX skills with NIM, migration, patching , trouble shooting in AIX. You should be looking at IBM global services or professional services.

·         Someone who worked in an offshore / onshore modeled environment.

·         This individual should have strong communication skills and is used to on-call.

 

 

·         Unix (AIX, Linux/Solaris) System Administration

·         Scripting, Troubleshooting, Logical Volume Management, Performance monitoring, System Installation and Configuration, Hardware Management, Enhancement etc.

·         The individual should have the leadership skills along with necessary technical knowledge as well.

·         Unix Internals/Web sphere/LDAP AIX/Linux and Middle Wares.

·         Good team player and communication skills, client interaction

·         Database knowledge – Oracle, EMC Storage.

·         Leadership skills are mandate.
