Location:Santa Clara; Bay Area
Duration: Long term Contract

 

Skills & Description:

 

Experience
7 + years of experience in supporting and implementing Oracle Projects (Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, Project Manufacturing, Oracle Time and Labor)

 

Hands on experience with ability to perform hands on design and testing work

 

Deep Knowledge of Project Accounting(PA) Functionality and PA interfaces to other sub-ledger modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, INV, OM, PO, iexpense, iProcurement)
Superior organizational skills with estimation and project planning experience
Strong customer focused attitude with good communication skills
Experience in working with Oracle EBS Release 12 preferable
Should have experience in working with a multi vendor and multi location projects working as a consultant
Should have experience working with multi cultural extended team, with ability to influence team members to cross the finish line on time

 

8- 10 years of Functional experience
Ability to interact with business users, understand business requirements, translate to functional requirement
Work with development team to deliver project
Experience in Implementations, rollouts
Primary skill – Project Accounting along with GL, any additional modules will be of advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities
Be the liaison between business managers, business users and IT team
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions or mapping, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Drive and challenge business requirements on their assumptions of how they will successfully support the business process
Collaborate with Oracle application developers and business users to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Provide detailed application and process solution to address business problems
Develop requirements specifications, functional and technical specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
Provide support for project accounting financial close working closely with finance and production support team members
