Position: Sitecore Developer

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: 4-6 Months

 

Job requirements:

Sitecore CMS 6.4/6.5 experience
3+ years of SiteCore specific development experience
5-7+ years of project experience performing software development, including at least 2-3 years of project experience architecting applications.
MVC architecture and related object oriented design patterns.
Web CMS experience implementing Sitecore is a must
Web Application Architecture: Expert knowledge of the domain
Knowledge and experience in architecting and developing e-commerce systems
Knowledge of databases and data modeling is necessary
Knowledge of basic system and network administration tasks is necessary
Working ability to identify architecturally significant requirements and their ramifications
Work with interactive agencies and knowledge of brand, creative and user-experience competencies is a plus
Strong understanding of the following Sitecore aspects
Sitecore API for Sitecore.Kernel and Sitecore.Client libraries
Data Infrastructure
Content Items
Presentation - specifically Web Controls
Placeholder framework
Rules framework
Binding content and presentation
Workflow engine

Responsibilities:

Development for large scale Sitecore CMS implementations
content modeling activities to support Sitecore data tempalates
Provides strong testing, debugging, and documentation skills
Implements Sitecore best practices and design patterns
Demonstrates accurate estimating skills for development tasks
Demonstrates proficiency with at Microsoft .NET technologies
Independently manages individual time and tasks
Communicates effectively with client stakeholders.
