Duration : Long Term

 

Experience : 7 or more years of solid Informatica ETL, DW and PL/SQL experience

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Create, tuning and testing complex ETL processes for large and complex OLAP/OLTP data sets

·         Maintain and support Informatica 8.x/9.x workflows

·         Architect an ETL processes from business requirements.

·         Participate in requirement meetings with end-users to understand and collect requirements.

·         Validate the accuracy of business rules and transformations

·         Make recommendations on performance optimization, ETL architecture, Re-startability and supportability

 

Required Skills/Qualification:

·         Informatica

·         Excellent SDLC Skills

·         Excellent PL/SQL Skills

·         8.6 and 9.x suite of products

·         Expertise in the entire Power Center suite (Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor)

·         Conforming and merging data from multiple data source types (i.e. MSSQL, Oracle, flat files, etc.)

·         Incrementally loading large tables with complex keys

·         Using transformations to implement complex business rules

·         Workflow management

·         Designing incremental load logic

·         Error handling

·         Using Informatica to restart failed jobs

·         Tracking performance and job status and job scheduling

·         Performance tuning

·         Workflow optimization

·         Mapping optimization

·         Transformation optimization

·         ETL documentation

·         Experience writing complex SQL queries against large data sets

·         Query optimization (indexing, partitioning, Oracle configuration, etc.)

·         Experience capturing and interpreting Oracle performance based statistics is a plus

·         Creating, modifying and optimizing stored procedures and packages

·         Familiarity with dimensional models and Operational Data Stores

·         Experience gathering and implementing business rules

·         Experience reconciling data output to existing reports and source data

·         Excellent oral and written communication

·         Self-Starter who takes initiative
