Location: Orlando, FL

Mode of hire: 6+ Months Contract

Type of Requirement: Functional Area of operations (primary skills on PDQ and secondary PDH)

Duration: 12-14 months

 

Job description & Preferred qualifications:

·         Passionate about designing and governing product data standards, processes and policies that cut across all organizational data needs including e-commerce, business reporting and print marketing.

·         Demonstrated success building master product data model and integrating data to that standard.

·         Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, and Master Data Management (MDM) systems. Oracle Product Data Quality is mandatory skills and Data Hub experience a plus.

·         Familiarity with Oracle Product Data Quality solutions.

·         Advanced Excel skills and ability to perform SQL database queries and an understanding of relational database design (including table structure and one-to-many relationships)

·         Familiar with and comfortable deploying best practices for building and refining taxonomy/hierarchy/categorization of data and products

·         Top-notch analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Keen editorial skills and attention to detail.

·         Exceptional communication skills - ability to make the complex succinct and simple (for technical and general business audiences). Clarity of thought is extremely valued. Self-starter, independent thinker.

·         Experience in Industrial or Electronic Supplies a plus.

·         Drive to discover and advance evolving industry best practices in classification, product data modeling, cleansing and e-commerce.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Interface with teams to source, integrate and cleanse data as well as deploy a refined taxonomy that results in an optimal deployment of our new PIM system. After deployment of the PIM, lead design and refinement of quality processes to protect our investments and improve deployment of data across the organization.

·         Minimum Requirements: Bachelors in an analytic, data-focused field. Masters preferred. Fields of focus include: Library and Information Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Linguistics and related fields.

·         3-5 years of work experience. Experience with techniques in handling large, complex, data. Experience in managing those who gather user data, interpret results, and translate into solutions.
