Title: C ++ developer

Location: Oakland, CA

Duration: Long Term

Rate: DOE

 

Responsibilities:

• Improve existing answer products for the better precision and coverage as well as the user experience.
• Propose and explore innovative methods for more effective question answering.
• System Design and Implementation: Participate in the quick prototype design and implementation, based on the document analysis results.
• System Evaluation and Tuning: Participate in testing data production, output evaluation, and turning for the best result.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in information retrieval and related areas. Experience on NLP, text mining and machine learning is a big plus.
• Advanced data modeling and data access experience. Experience with huge data sets;
• Solid understanding of algorithmic complexity and capability of developing high-performance data structures and algorithms;
• Fast prototyping skills, familiarity with scripting languages, such as bash, Perl, and Python;
• Strong C/C++ programming skills, including threading environments.
• Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Master degree in CS or equivalent from accredited universities. 2+ years of industrial experience with focus on data processing and analysis
