Job Description:

• This position requires a talented engineer that must have a solid understanding of Web Application Servers.  The engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing support and administration of the enterprises web applications.
• The candidate selected must have some experience in a UNIX/LINUX environment with some or all of the following application servers:  LAMP Stack, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Apache, and JBoss Application Server.
• The candidate also must be able to solve problems related to performance and other configuration related problems.
• A solid understanding of the different load balancing techniques is also needed.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Install, configure and manage WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce Server, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, LAMP Stack, and other web-oriented applications as necessary.
• Experience with clustering and load balancing of application servers.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, .NET, and PHP Web Application administration and deployment.
• Solid knowledge of UNIX (Solaris) and/or Linux(Redhat) – performance, scripting (Bash, Perl, and ant)
• Experience with MySQL, LDAP, and Oracle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both business and technical counterparts. Detail oriented. Strong  project/time management skills.
• Solid understanding of additional components - Windows, databases, networking, etc.
• Experience with F5 LTM Load Balancer is defnite plus.
