Position: WordPress Sr. Developer & Lead
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: Long Term

Start Date: April 1st

Developer (2 positions)
Lead (1 position)

Description:

• Can write WordPress plugins from scratch, including experience with advanced CMS-related functionality: multi-site, custom post types, custom metadata, and how to work with them
  
• Comfortable integrating 3rd party APIs with WordPress
  
• Great with PHP and love to write organized, clean code
  
• Able to interpret design guidance and wireframes and collaborate with our design team
  
• Familiarity with open source technology and the free culture movement
  

Nice to Have:

• Good with CSS and WordPress themes, including child themeing and understanding of modern concepts such as responsive design
  
• Understanding on i18n/l10n support for WordPress. If you have built multi-language content support onto WordPress, that is a major plus!
  
• Experience with operations and server configuration management (e.g. git, gerrit, puppet) a plus
