Position               : TANDEM Consultant

Location               : San Francisco, CA

Duration              : 6 Months +

 

Skillset Required:

 

·         Expertise in Installation, Configuration and Administration on HP Non-Stop Servers.

·         Experience of working on  Tandem Transactional Operating System / Guardian 

·         Installation and good work experience on OSM and TSM .

·         Configuration of LAN Adapters like E4SA, FESA, GESA, CCSA, G4SA, ATM3SA, TRSA and SNDA.

·         Good Working experience of all subsystems like Safecom, Tmfcom, Nskcom, Mediacom, Brcom, Spoolcom, Batchcom, Meascom, FUP, SCF and TACL.

·         Configuration Expand line through IP, ATM, FOX, SERVERNET etc.,

·         Configuration of OSS (UNIX) Environment and Sqlmx/mp.

·         Installation and configuration of Visual Inspect. Merging and splitting the NSK S-Series machines.

·         Automating the System Administration Activities using TACL Macro.

·         Rectifying Hardware Problems and providing support in Hardware Replacement.

·         Taking Backup and Restoration of System files using Backup, Tapesim, Pak, Unpak and Restore utilities.

·         Good understanding on LAN and WAN environment.

·         Problem Diagnostics & Troubleshooting in NSK and Yosemite.

·         Good understanding and quick leaning capabilities.

 

Desirable:

 

·         SYSGEN on NSK Systems with all versions of SUTs using DSM/SCM.

·         Configuration of Swan boxes and Telenex switches.

·         Configuration of Parallel Tcp/ip (jaguar) and IPV6.

·         Connecting loop backs Between Swan Boxes using RS232, RS449 and ATMs.

·         Configuration of S- Series systems in Tetra 8 and Tetra16 topology.
