Title: Web Support Engineer, LAMP Stack

 

·         Positions and Location : Glendale, California, US (1 position)

 

 

 

Start Date:

California: Immediate

 

Type: Sub-Con (with an option to hire after 6 months)

 

Duration: Initial 6 months, will keep getting extended. There is visibility for 2 years.

 

Skills & Description:

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and supporting multiple PHP (predominantly Drupal, Facebook) based websites on Linux Environments.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

·         3+ years of experience in a support role

·         Expertise in configuring Apache, MySQL and PHP in Linux environments is a must Basic Linux System Administration knowledge is essential deep understanding of hosting and managing multiple websites in a shared environment.

·         Ability to monitor performance of websites, memory consumption, resource consumption, etc

 

Desired Skillsets:

·         Knowledge of Drupal, Facebook

·         Apache, MySQL configuration and tuning

·         Documentation of processes & guidelines

·         Performing stress tests, security tests on a shared Linux environment Sound understanding of web hosting concepts including load balancers, firewalls, etc
