Location:Chattanooga, TN
Duration:1 Year Contract

 

Max rate:$45-46/hr

 

 
Description:
The Web Developer with strong background in C# Programming will be accountable for providing development, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance of the VW Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software applications.

 

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, designs, and develops new feature functionality for the software applications per internal specifications
Writes software applications that contain logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions
Identifies, troubleshoots and debugs defects in designated application code
Works with the Development Team to design, develop and document data integration methods
Accountable for meeting delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks 
 

 

Education, Training and Experience:
B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field
Minimum of 3 years' experience working with commercial application software
Minimum of 5 years experience in Web Developing.
Minimum 5 years experience in Software Development Lifecycle
Experience writing MS SQL queries and stored procedures
Experience migrating applications from VB6 to .NET frameworks preferred

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of manufacturing maintenance practices is a plus
Strong Microsoft programming skills, including C#, HTML 5, SQL Server and C++
Hands-on knowledge of database design, application and documentation
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
